Classic, conventional and effortlessly chic are the words that easily roll of the tongue when you see a Little Black Dress. That’s clearly the look Girls Aloud Member Nicola Roberts and British Signer Diana Vickers were going for at InStyle’s 10th Anniversary party!

Sticking to the fashion traditions, Nicola Roberts was all black everything in a ruffle cocktail mini dress, a satchel, courts stoked with a statement necklace in form of a gold choker while Diana Vickers went for an understated maxi number that accentuated her curves.

I think I’ll have to disagree with Fashion Designer Bill Blass’s quote right now and say when you’re in doubt, wear black! There isn’t a hue that could rival it for being the go-to-colour.
