Super cool right? I instantly thought it would be a high-fashion upgrade to the conventional black I often wear during Autumn/Winter so it’s time to get the zoom in on them! Moon nails have been featured a number of times on the runway and thanks to its appearance in the Thakoon Fashion Show in 2009, it’s our newest polish relish!
Moon manicure puts a spin on the ever classically friendly French manicure by reversing it. You don’t have to stick with black on the outer half moon. You could opt for a particular favourite nail polish of yours. Dita Von Teese rocks her moon nails in red which I totally love but my absolute favourite of them all is black on white. It reminds of a vampire inspired look which complements dark hues such as navy blue, black and grey, that’s simply perfect for this season!
So is this more of a Spring/Summer or Autumn/Winter 2010 beauty trend? I’m literally trying it this weekend Dolls! Will you be doing the same?
